Saturday, April 17 (La Grange)

  1. Where do I check in when I arrive at La Grange?
As you enter the La Grange County Fairgrounds, the BP tent is situated on the SW section of the park. Do not turn your bike into the MS Society, as they will lock it up in the baseball field.
  2. What do I do with my bike?
When you check in at the BP tent, your bike will be stored for the night by BP volunteers at our location for easy access in the morning. Should you choose not to store your bike with Team BP, you are responsible for its safekeeping. No bikes are allowed inside the main BP tents or in the BP area (there will NOT be a bike corral at the BP tent).
  3. How do I get a massage?
Please report to the massage registration desk. You will be given an appointment card that will show the masseuse’s number and the time you should report to that masseuse. Massages will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 7:10 p.m. We will try to accommodate all riders; however in some cases a late arrival may reduce the chance of receiving a massage in La Grange  Massages are $20 for 15 minutes - which includes a tip.
  4. Where do I pick up my baggage?
Your baggage will be in the baggage tent behind the main BP tent.
  5. Is there food and beverage provided at the tent?
Food and beverage will be available to all BP riders and guests wearing the Team BP wristbands.
  6. May I bring my family and friends to enjoy the food, beverage and entertainment at the BP tent? Though space is limited, family and friends supporting riders can enjoy BP hospitality. However, in order to provide quality services, everyone at the Team BP tents must be wearing a Team BP wristband.  There is a fee of $25.00 per guest for the wristbands, and a limit of three guests per rider.
  7. What food is available at the BP/La Grange tent?
A variety of foods are available on the buffet from cold salads, hamburgers, pizza, to desserts. Beverages are also provided.

Yes. Showers are provided by the MS Society in a location that services the whole camp, both at the fairgrounds and at a local school (the MS Society provides buses to the school).
  9. What time do the lights go out in the tent?
Lights go out at the tent approximately 9 p.m.
  10. May I sleep in the tent?
Yes, you are welcome to sleep at the BP tent, but you are responsible for bringing your own sleeping gear. Please ensure you put waterproof sheeting down before you put your sleeping gear on the ground.
  11. May I reserve a hotel for the overnight stay?
The MS Society offers hotel room information as well as transportation to and from MS coordinated hotels. Please check their website and make your plans well in advance as rooms book quickly during the tour weekend.
  12. How do I get a BP ID wristband for a family/friend of a BP Rider to have food and beverages at the BP tent?
You MUST purchase wristbands online or at packet pick-up. Packet pick-up will be the last time that wristbands will be sold. Riders may purchase up to three wristbands. Their guests’ names will be recorded at the time of purchase. Wristbands are $25 each for guests 4 and older.
    • For safety reasons, small children must be accompanied by a parent at all times in the Team BP tents. Also, while we love pets, they are not permitted in the BP tent or BP tent area.
  13. Is campsite space available at Camp BP in La Grange?
10' x 10' campsites are available in a limited amount.  Larger tents are not allowed due to space constraints.  Due to space limitations and for safety reasons, individual camping at the BP area in LaGrange will now be by reservation only. Please reserve your space early. When Camp BP is full we will be directing overflow to either MS camping areas or to sleeping areas in the BP community tent. Those with camping reservations will get their credentials in LaGrange when they enter the camping area. Reservations must be made online.

Sunday Morning, April 18 (La Grange)

  1. What time do activities start in the tent?
Lights will be turned on at 5 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be available very soon afterward.

  4. What do I do with my baggage?
Please bring your baggage to the baggage tent or designated truck as directed by our volunteers.
  5. When can I leave to go to Austin?
Since the riders leave in groups to go to Austin after 7:00 a.m., the sooner you place yourself in a group outside the BP tent, the sooner you will leave - the line to leave La Grange will start forming around 4 a.m.!!

Sunday, April 18 (Austin)

  1. Where do I check-in when I reach Austin?
When you arrive, please go directly to the Team BP transportation station located on Brazos Street, East of the BP tent, leave your bike and book your bus trip to WestLake. 2. How do I get a bus ticket to return to WestLake?
There will be BP buses to WestLake. You will be given a ticket for the bus. The tentative schedule for bus departures has busses leaving every half hour starting at 2:30 p.m. If you wish to shower and eat before you leave, please allow adequate time for those activities.
  3. Where can I find my baggage?
Your baggage will be in numeric order located near the BP transportation trucks.

  5. How do I get BP identification wristbands for family/friend of BP Rider to have lunch at the BP tent?
You MUST purchase wristbands at packet pick-up. This will be the only time that wristbands will be sold. Riders may purchase up to three wristbands. Their guests’ names will be recorded at the time of purchase. Wristbands are $25 each. If you are picking up a packet in South Texas you may buy them at the designated time. For safety reasons, small children must be accompanied by a parent at all times in the Team BP tents. Also, while we love pets, they are not permitted in the BP tent or BP tent area.
  6. What should I do with my Bike?
Please take your bike to the BP trucks and advise the attendants which bus you will be taking to WestLake.

You should load your baggage in the cargo section of the bus you are taking back to WestLake.
  8. How do I get my bike when I arrive at WestLake?
We try to have the truck that corresponds to your bus leave ahead of your bus so when you arrive at WestLake the truck will not be too far behind (i.e. truck 1 is paired with bus 1, truck 2 with bus 2, etc.). We are not responsible for holding any baggage or bikes at WestLake.
  9. Are there any massages at the BP tent in Austin?
There are no massages given at the BP tent in Austin.
